Understanding Posture

Join us to learn more about recognizing common and compensatory patterns as well as more subtle structural issues you may encounter in your own posture.
Body Reading is observing posture in an attempt to notice what the relationships between different parts of the body might be. Many postural patterns that cause discomfort appear in a subtle manner.

In this workshop you will learn about how posture evolves over time, by di-secting the whole with the eye and a thorough understanding of the factors that may have an influence on posture and then assess how all separate body parts and their interactions affect the entire structure.
This workshop is adjusted from its regular Teacher Training format to inform clients practicing Pilates, Yoga, Gyrotonic as well as dancers, runners and serious athletes and includes a handout.

Fee $65 for 3 hours. For dates and enrollment click here.
