Become a Pilates Teacher
Whether you want to learn more about Pilates for your personal benefit, are passionate about helping others or simply enjoy teaching, our graduates all come from different professional and fitness backgrounds.
In our comprehensive courses, trainees will learn to develop the skills to effectively teach clients of all ages and fitness levels. Lectures, functional anatomy and practical application are part of our training program, with the goal to allow each trainee to fully comprehend the biomechanics that make up the movements, so that the choreography of the exercises is understood instead of memorized. We instill the skills to teach clients with therapeutic needs as well as those with performance based levels of practice; we pay attention to the ability to make a valuable distinction between one-on-one teaching versus group teaching and most of all how to keep clients safe and well aligned.
Inner Elements currently offers two venues to PMA Certification, which are offered concurrently. As we are associated with Anatomy Trains we recommend the Anatomy Trains for Movement workshop in addition to the Functional Anatomy that is an integral part of our comprehensive programs. See workshops for upcoming offerings.
