The Physicalmind Institute approaches Pilates not just as a fitness regime, but also as a reeducation of the body through movement. In its purest form Pilates is a preventative system that focuses on developing proper body alignment, through a stable engaged core, which allows us to responsibly mobilize through the joints to create the flexibility our body needs to maintain a balanced relationship with the pull of gravity.

Who this course is for:

  • Serious students and athletic performers: Deepen your personal practice, increase the effectiveness of your workouts

  • Movement specialists: Personal Trainers, Physical Therapists, Massage Therapists, Chiropractors, Rolfers and other body workers will gain (re)new(ed) insight in movement principles they may already apply in their practice

  • Future as well as experienced Certified Pilates Instructors:
This course is the first step in becoming a certified PhysicalMind Pilates Instructor.
The therapeutic concepts incorporated in the Method Pilates offer an approach to Pilates movement unique to PhysicalMind Institute and are complimentary to most of the other certification programs available.
